receive 1 million yen (1 million rupees) per child

The Japanese government has stated that families who leave Tokyo will receive 1 million yen (1 million rupees) per child. A family of two traveling from Tokyo will receive more than 2 million. This is regarded as a significant government initiative. The government is encouraging people to live in small towns and villages under this scheme. The incentive for transfer fees was announced in April of last year. Following that, people in low-birth-rate areas were encouraged to have more children. According to the Guardian, the Japanese government intends to use this initiative to bring the country's less appealing areas onto the path of development. As a result, there will be some reduction.
